We bring value to the additive manufacturer that wants to provide the surface functionality that their customers demand, but who is limited by the manufacturing substrates currently available or the ability of the equipment to layer a material consistently. A printed part can be lighter, cheaper, faster, but at the end of the day the part must perform and often that begins and ends at the surface.
We are additive to additive manufacturing. We maintain an ever-growing database of composite materials and corresponding optimal coatings for those materials, dependent on the application.
Metal printing done using such materials as aluminum, titanium, stainless steel, inconels and chrome can be coated with alternative metals to achieve a surface characteristic that the underlying printed substrate cannot provide. And we do this while maintaining engineering tolerances.
