Making The Right Tool
Better For The Job
We have extensive experience in providing medical tool coatings such as black titanium nitride. If you’re looking for a wear protection coating with a brilliant surface, we can help.
Our coatings have been tasked to work in a multitude of industries, protecting a range of parts in some of the harshest conditions known. We formulate coatings for hardness, lubricity, wear-resistance, corrosion protection, anti-seizure and to withstand high temperatures. It all depends on your application and what you want out of your tool.
OUR COATINGS ARE READY TO BE ANYWHERE YOU NEED TO PROTECT CRITICAL PARTS FROM ABRASION, ADHESION, FATIGUE AND CORROSION. APPLIED AT TEMPERATURES THAT WILL NOT AFFECT YOUR INSTRUMENT’S CORE HARDNESS OR METALLURGICAL STRUCTURE.
Physical vapor deposition (PVD) coatings are different from your standard electroplating and anodizing. The low-energy bonding of electroplating and anodizing are primarily cosmetic and do not provide significant wear protection and can often knock precision tools out of tolerance. In contrast, the high energy application of PVD generates a surface that is part of the underlying substrate (your tool) creating high hardness and abrasion and heat resistance.
